Our kiondo bag is handwoven using sisal fibre, which grows in the semi arid areas in Kenya. The sisal is harvested by cutting the fleshy stems, and the fibre extracted, washed and then dyed, before hand weaving it to make the beautiful baskets.
The Kiondo bag is lined with 💯 cotton fabric and the adjustable straps are made from leather. It also is fitted with a zipper to safeguard your items.Care: don’t dip in water or washing machine. Use a damp cloth to gently clean.
